Paul Gauguin Cruises is a cruise line owned by Beachcomber Croisieres Limited with headquarters in Bellevue, Washington. Paul Gauguin Cruises operates the award-winning luxury cruise ship, the Paul Gauguin, providing a luxury cruise experience to Tahiti, French Polynesia and the South Pacific.[1]

History

The company and ship had been sailing under Regent Seven Seas Cruises from 1998–2010 until Paul Gauguin Shipping Ltd. took over the ship and operations in January 2010. But the parent company Beachcomber Croisieres Limited acquired the line in 2009.[2] The cruise line currently operates one ship the award winning Paul Gauguin. On September 30, 2011 the line announced the acquisition of a second ship. The ship will be christened as the Moana in December 2012. The ship will only has 45 staterooms and can carry up to 90 passengers much smaller than there first ship. The ship itself will receive a mutifaceted renovation in November 2012. More details are set to be released in 2012.[3]

Destination

Paul Gauguin currently sails year-round to Tahiti & Society Islands, Cook Islands, French Polynesia, Fiji, Marquesas, Tonga, Tuamotus, Australia & New Zealand. The new ship Moana is to debut in the Mediterranean, Caribbean & Latin American a first for the cruise line.
